The mold remediation is finally finished, and I need to move onto my next new home improvement project. At the top of the list is the kitchen, but I'm knocking that down a slot. Next up: a new privacy fence in the yard.
About a year ago, I got new neighbors, a family of eight. They're nice people, but they entertain in their yard a lot in the spring, summer, and fall, and their kids stand at the chain link fence that separates our yards and yell to me ceaselessly. Cute kids, but I need some privacy, so I'm putting up a fence.
So far my home improvements projects have been relatively painless. I don't much like having my space invaded by workers, but I'm proud of myself so far. I've rolled with the changes and have managed pretty well. My loan money is dwindling, but I've made good progress. So far, my projects have included a new roof, gutters, and downspouts, masonry work, attic insulation, and mold remediation. A few more months of this, and I'll be done!
